Oh wow! Spiral really does offer the best buffet in town today. I used to favor Makati Shangrila Hotel's Circles but Spiral is really something else.

For 1.2k per person (buy one take one if you have the Sofitel privelege card which we had) you can feast on a variety of cuisines, among them Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Spanish, and Italian. I got confused as to which foods to try because there were so many dishes laid out.

My picks: Sushi Rice (it tasted exactly like the one we had in Tokyo) and salmon yakitori from the Japanese section, the variety of papadams and naans with matching sauces in the Indian section, pizza from the Italian section (the crust is thin and soft and had this freshly baked quality), freshly grilled meat of your choice (lamb chops, steaks, sausages, etc), and freshly made churros con chocolate from the dessert section.

Believe me there was so much more yummy food there but my stomach could unfortunately not accomodate them all. What I loved most about Spiral was that the food did not taste like they were mass-produced. There's both quantity and quality, which makes it well worth the money. I was just not too pleased with my tempura which was not crisp and not hot.
