I have a pair of Havaianas Highs which I think look really good on me. The problem is, I wear them so often that I'm starting to get strap burns at the sides of my feet. Being an avid magazine reader, I got wind of Crocs -- a supposedly revolutionary footwear from the US that's super light, comfy, and is both bacteria and odor-resistant. Seemed perfect for sweaty feet like mine, heh.

Anyways about a week ago we trooped to the Crocs shop at Serendra, and boy was it jam-packed. It's just like when Havaianas first hit our shores.

I got confused with all the available colors, but finally settled for a pair of burgundy Beach Crocs. Black crocs are seriously... well... ugh. Burgundy was perfect because it's dark enough so that it wouldn't get dirty easily and it can pretty much go with any top in my closet, yet it's still a bright enough color to be considered cute.

Wearing Crocs with socks can be likened to putting your feet inside an oven. Wearing Crocs without socks is great, especially when it's airy. The air gets in all the vents and holes and your feet feel so cool and refreshed. They are so light they're barely there. Fashion-wise, I think they look great with jeans. I just wish they'd come a little higher because I personally dislike flat footwear.

The P 1,750 price tag is just right since Crocs retails for US$29.99 in the US, add the US sales tax and the price here and there are almost the same.
