Love and Berry: Dress Up and Dance! is an arcade game available exclusively at Q Power Station. My 3-year old daughter Keirra is sooo crazy about this.

One game costs 28 pesos. Swiping your power card on the terminal activates the game and a fashion magic card is dispensed. You can get either a Hair and Make-Up card, Dress Up Card, Footwear Card, or Special Item Card (the rarest of all). The player chooses either Love (brown-haired girl) or Berry (black-haired girl) as her character and proceeds to swipe the fashion magic cards she has on hand to dress up Love and Berry for the venue of choice. You can go to the seaside, the disco, the ball, fashion street, street court... but you have to dress appropriately to get max points. After dressing up, you get to dance in your chosen venue by pressing the buttons in time to the beat of the music.

It's a very simple game but the graphics are very pretty and anime-sque. My daughter loves collecting the cards and dressing up Love and Berry in the arcade. The down sides to this are you can't play at home (although in Japan there is a Nintendo DS version which has a peripheral which reads the fashion magic cards) and the game does cost 28 pesos a pop.

So kikay... :D

I love ZARA.

ZARA is fashionable, reasonably priced, and more importantly, reasonably sized.

Let's face it, after having two kids, I'm no longer the size I was back in college. When I shop at ZARA, I don't have to settle for loose XLs just so I can button up the chest area (this is something I usually end up doing when shopping for clothes). There are styles with cuts and shapes for every type of figure. I especially like their Trafaluc (TRF) line because I can get stylish casual tops for as low as P895 (regular price, not on sale). I can get dressier tops in the P1.6k to P2.2k range. I'm always waiting for ZARA to go on sale for even lower prices!!!

Their boutiques are bright and spacious equipped with ample fitting rooms and well-trained staff. Shopping at ZARA is actually relaxing.

I love ZARA. It's a dream come true for ladies with less than perfect figures like mine.

I have a pair of Havaianas Highs which I think look really good on me. The problem is, I wear them so often that I'm starting to get strap burns at the sides of my feet. Being an avid magazine reader, I got wind of Crocs -- a supposedly revolutionary footwear from the US that's super light, comfy, and is both bacteria and odor-resistant. Seemed perfect for sweaty feet like mine, heh.

Anyways about a week ago we trooped to the Crocs shop at Serendra, and boy was it jam-packed. It's just like when Havaianas first hit our shores.

I got confused with all the available colors, but finally settled for a pair of burgundy Beach Crocs. Black crocs are seriously... well... ugh. Burgundy was perfect because it's dark enough so that it wouldn't get dirty easily and it can pretty much go with any top in my closet, yet it's still a bright enough color to be considered cute.

Wearing Crocs with socks can be likened to putting your feet inside an oven. Wearing Crocs without socks is great, especially when it's airy. The air gets in all the vents and holes and your feet feel so cool and refreshed. They are so light they're barely there. Fashion-wise, I think they look great with jeans. I just wish they'd come a little higher because I personally dislike flat footwear.

The P 1,750 price tag is just right since Crocs retails for US$29.99 in the US, add the US sales tax and the price here and there are almost the same.

Blog EntryMy first Louis Vuitton bag!Jan 16, '07 11:01 PM
for everyone

I had my cousin purchase an LV Denim Monogram Baggy PM from France for me, and wow the price difference is just incredible! She got it for 810 euro (roughly about 52k pesos with the current exchange rate). I went to the LV Boutique in Greenbelt last December and this bag cost more than 70k. I had my sis inquire at LV in HK and it cost about 58k pesos there. According to LV's US website it costs US$1210 in the US (excluding sales tax), the net cost of which would be around 65k pesos.

I just LOVE this bag. It's the best bag I've ever owned. The buckles, zippers, and the bag itself are solidly built. The quality is incredible. It even smells of leather. It's so worth every cent.
